Today is the World Mental Health Day established by WHO. The reason why it was established is to raise and awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilising efforts in support of mental health.

We want to use this opportunity and shine some light to the outstanding startup we’ve worked with, who are helping people around the world to tackle mental issues in a various ways. Lifted (Finland) provides an easy path to improved health and performance. With their solution WAAS (Wellbeing as a Service) they helps individuals and employees get a control over their stress.

Ninchat (Finland) is a secure and flexible communication platform for chat across all customer channels and devices, it’s currently used in multiple countries as a hotline for urgent support

SidekickHealth (Iceland/Sweden) makes online programs which help chronic patients improve quality of sleep, tackle depression and gain overall healthier lifestyle. The company also works with employers and providers.

Minduu (Finland) connects people who are in need of professional help with the right mental health professionals.

Mental health is defined by the World Health Organisation as a state of well-being in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community. No doubt that it has the utter importance a individual level and for society.
